Ugly Duckling

This is my latest painting in progress. Right now it’s in what I refer to as, “the ugly duckling stage.” Doesn’t look like much now but one day it will be a swan! Trust me on this. Those of you who are crafty have endured this stage. For those of you who would like to be creative, a word of advice, this is the stage where most folk start feeling despair and quit. Don’t quit, just keep going, it gets better.

Wouldn’t you know I finally finish gluing all this stuff on my canvas and we get two days of rain. This doesn’t help the drying process. But never fear! This is why I have a really big fan….
